About Us

Our Floral Style

Ginkgo's designs are typically textural and whimsical (and a little wild). Any flower with bouncy movement or curvy lines is sure to catch our eye. We love to source locally grown flowers as much as possible, and are committed to foam-free mechanics in our arrangements and installations.

Currently, we offer weekend deliveries and monthly subscriptions. We also specialize in floral design for events, such as weddings, elopements, and celebrations.

If you like our aesthetic and are interested in receiving flowers, please contact us! We’d love to hear from you.

Behind the Flowers

Hi! I’m Natalie.

On most weekends and some early mornings, I’m a florist specializing in whimsical, textural arrangements. You can find me creating arrangements for our monthly subscriptions, planning for an upcoming event or wedding, or - more likely - processing flowers and scrubbing buckets.

On weekdays, I’m a speech-language pathologist in the public school setting. I support students in areas like language comprehension, expressing themselves, and social communication.

Otherwise, you’ll find me enjoying the ambiance of a coffee shop or on a walk with my husband and pitbull mix Gertrude.

Behind the Name

Ginkgo trees are a symbol of resilience and hope, firmly grounded in the earth. In the fall, the leaves turn to a deep golden yellow that brings a sense of warmth and comfort. In the spring, leaves emerge in a bright green hue that brings hope and renewal.

I love that calming stillness in the mornings, at dawn. The house is quiet, the sunlight is soft, and a breeze gently moves the linen curtains. It’s a brief moment when I’m able to truly feel at peace.

I hope our floral arrangements are a reminder to seek those moments of stillness - to find beauty in the details, take a deep breath, and press on.

With love, Natalie
